Privacy Policy

The short version: Gupt AI has no backend, so there is nothing for us to collect. The app runs locally on your device and talks directly to the AI provider you configure.

1. What we collect

Nothing. We operate no server and no account system. We do not receive your prompts, API keys, audio, screenshots, knowledge files, or conversations.

2. What stays on your device

• Settings & API keys — stored locally on your machine via electron-store.
• Conversations & knowledge files — saved locally and never uploaded anywhere by the app.
• On macOS this lives in ~/Library/Application Support/Gupt AI/; on Windows under %APPDATA%. Delete that folder to erase everything.

3. Third-party AI providers

When you ask a question, the app sends it directly to the provider you chose (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, or Mistral) using your own key. That request is subject to that provider's privacy policy and data-handling practices, not ours. We are not a party to it and never see it.

4. This website

This marketing site stores only your light/dark theme preference in your browser. It does not require cookies to function.
